Peaceful afternoons

Roaming the sun-kissed streets, people wandering about, eating in small coffeeshops, eavesdropping on conversations - students talking about orientation, office workers talking about going on holiday. Many elderly, many undefined people going about their business during lunch like me (like me?), construction work going on, Parkview Square in the sun is quite nice, there's some breeze, never thought I'd like this combination.

I'm eating dessert in an air-conditioned shophouse, chinese decoration, cosy, I'm alone if you don't count the strangers mingling in groups, going to the national library later, life is good.
