The kind of editing they did to my article was amazing. I expected it, yes, editors being editors, and if the editing was done for reasons of simplification, organization, clarification, appeal, then yes I condone it. But some of them were quite unnecessary and left a bad taste in my mouth.

Ah but what does it matter anyway. I've got the money and sufficient experience to conclude that journalistic writing is not for me. Anyhow, many thanks to those who did their best to help me.
