Hmm
I teared up once at a memorial. It wasn't because there was a touching eulogy. It wasn't even because I knew the person - my JC PE teacher - well. It was because I remembered this one scene where he spoke to me. It was morning, we were in a PE lesson. I was seated on the ground, I think, and he came up to me and pointed to a canopy of trees where the morning sun was filtering through. Can you see angels over there, he said.
He died some months later in a tragic car accident while he was on a honeymoon in NZ with his wife. I remember wondering, at the memorial, what his last thoughts were, and it was probably then that I teared up.
A few things happened recently, some things I can't write here, and most of the things that I can write here end up on scraps of paper, Facebook, my mind, my diary. Over 600 pages now that. It goes all the way back to Sec 1, and sometimes I wonder if I should photocopy the whole lot.

That's so saddening. He sounds like a nice man.
