Is it just me or is contemporary poetry steeped excessively in non-rhythmic verse?

Such a pity the poetry of our time should depart from the likes of blake, wordsworth, coleridge, keats and more recently, auden, thomas hardy and maybe several others. (Of course, my current knowledge of poetry is extremely limited and if you know of contemporary poets comparable to the styles of those listed do inform me)

It's almost as if we've transferred, completely, the musical quality of words onto songs.
