Singapore short story project

Today I watched a show in which a young, pregnant female said she wanted her child to grow up happy, and after that she took a drink which ended her life, and I found that pretty touching.

As the narrator said, life is a series of choices. In the end it all boils down to one choice: to stay, or to leave.
