Go watch cinderella man. This is the kind of stuff you cry over, man or woman. In fact, more so if you're a man.

Would you have went for the last fight if you were braddock? I wouldnt, not for my wife and three children. But when I was discussing it over with a friend after the movie I realised that, on second thoughts, hell I would. For the sake of giving the people hope, for the sake of giving myself a second chance, for the sake of fighting for myself, yes I would, even in the face of death.

And that is, for me, the essence of the film-- to realise that, in life, you've got to have confidence in yourself, you've got to make your passion count. There are many views over why he took up the fight, but personally I would like to believe he went for it because he knew he could win.

And I like the way russell crowe stands on his feet and moves his body in tipsy fashion. And his smile when his mouthpiece got knocked out. Absolutely charming.
